#55 -- Pure Perception of Truth and the Wisdom of Huang Po

1) The huge trap of building a mental and philosophical container. 2) How to let wisdom dissolve the illusion of a container. 3) The "teacher" trap discussed. 4) How true books appeal to a select few and because they are challenging, they can have a hard time staying in print. 5) History lesson from 900 AD in China with Huang Po. 6) The power of standing alone. 7) The Bible's classic story of the Tower of Bable -- the inevitable crumbling of intellectual knowledge. 8) Audience Question: "My spouse is not interested in these higher life ideas. What to do?" 9) Why it's often best to keep your spiritual studies secret. 10) Let change occur naturally. 11) How others see you through their hardened image of who they think you are. 12) Closing inspiration from Huang Po.

The talk on: Pure Perception of Truth and the Wisdom of Huang Po, was one of the finest and most helpful I've yet heard! Both moderators have established a flow, that complements itself!

This site has grown to be of great help, especially for those of us, out here, who don't have the connection with other's, near us!

Reading some of the description, helped to realize that the art of Awakening, or Enlightenment, through Awareness, goes back into the distant past, leading also to the supreme, and discovery of our True Self.

Practical information on spouses, and how important it is to keep this knowledge to ourselves, is something I so agree with, and may help the questioner, and many of those who face this issue.

Thanks for a highly helpful, and important start to a new day.

I agree. this is one of the best Ive heard. I look forward to each podcast. I have struggled greatly with my spouse in areas of Truth as I am seeing it. The discussion on keeping it secret is just what I needed. I had started doing this, so, it was good to have it confirmed.

It is always just so apparent, anytime I try to share my spiritual knowledge, that it doesn't work. (Although I believe that on rare occasions it can be nonchalantly slipped in, if someone is really ready for it.)

But I am delighted to hear that we have to toss our knowledge out, because I see how true that is.

And I love the reference to 'the Kingdom of Heaven can only be entered alone', which applies to both statements.
