Shalom and Hello:
I have been listening to the program for sometime, when I came across something that I thought worthy of input.
At time index 6:57 on podcast episode #68, the statement is made, that "unless you have Christ himself as your personal teacher that is going to be awfully difficult".
I thought you may be interested in learning how about ways to accomplish exactly that - quoting from an online article (http://brotherofyeshua.com/TheThreeLies.htm#TrueProphet):
The True Prophet - Son of God - Logos - Teacher Of Righteousness:
The objective of all genuine religions, is to bring about that condition within the mind and life of the individual where they are able to fulfill the statement in the Gospel of John, and be "taught by God" -- i.e., "It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me" (John 6:45 NKJ). And it was for this reason that Jesus commanded his disciples not to be called teacher or rabbi -- i.e., "But you are not to be called rabbi, for you have One Teacher, and you are all brethren" (Matt 23:8 RSV) -- and this was commanded, because there is Only One True Teacher, and that is the True Prophet -- Often referred to as the Logos, the Son of God, and the Teacher of Righteousness. And that those lost prodigal sons who look to other men as their teacher, rabbi or leaders, will be greatly deceived and misguided, is why the disciple Peter in the Clementine Homilies declared: “Hence, O belov! ed Clement, if you would know the things pertaining to God, you have to learn them from Him alone, because He alone knows the truth. For if any one else knows anything, he has received it from Him or from His disciples”.
Happy Reading.
