    Tom & Fred,

I want to thank you both so much for taking the time to address my question on this podcast. I'm going to be listening to it again and again, as there's so much to reflect upon in your response. I really appreciated the notion of the "breadcrumbs on the path" - though your follow-up comments on GREED were all-too pertinent in my case. You obviously know just how my mind works. But I'll try keep remembering that vertical arrow you talked about as a kind of direct line to the eternal Now.

When you spoke of society's sinister mind-numbing techniques, I know what you mean, but I always feel it's not so much "them" out there being so strong as "me" being so weak and eager to go along with all their appeals and fawnings to my ego. The more I can stay aware, though, maybe the less avid to hear their flattering lies I'll be. "Watch and pray," as the Bible says, "watch and pray."

Anyway, thank you yet again for your response and thank you too for everything you're doing here. Yes, you're right: these podcasts do seem to be something quite unique on the net, and for that alone you're manna from heaven.

Obvious though it may be, by the way, my suggestion film-wise would be "Groundhog Day".

I have some movie tips that will be very helpful and enjoyable. Years ago Tom shared a list of 22 titles provided by Mr. Howard of books, movies, songs and poems that had a great way of communicating the higher work to us. The one that really hit home was "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty". I'm constantly catching myself being Mitty and going off into dreamland and totally missing out on the present moment. This movie gave me a great opportunity to connect with the Truth in a fun way. On the list also was "Dracula" which after reading the book I had to get the original movie version with Bela Lugosi. Another great movie that was shared in class one day was "High Noon". The three movies sure share some valuable insights and are truly great works.
