As one countinues to do these excercises of trying to stay "awake" does it become easier as time goes by? In other words is it always going to be a struggle or will it come more naturally as you practice more?

Good question. We'll address in an upcoming podcast. Yes, it does get easier. You paddle until the wind comes, but when the wind comes it carries you forward. This is important to know, since people can get obsessed with a stressful, tight "effort" to stay awake. Yet, paddling is important til the wind arrives. Then when the wind subsides, to paddle again. Alternating between intelligent, released effort and merging with the Wind that already is.
