Referring to what Fred and Tom said, about bringing our own baggage, regarding awakened people. I had, as far I as I know, gotten a chance to talk with an enlightened person, over the phone. Yes, I had expectations that could never be met, but after the 2nd call, I realized this was a person no different then myself, who had an extraordinary experience, and there was no need to place him on a pedestal, let alone critique his every word and behavior pattern. When I dropped all these things, I actually heard what he had to say, unfiltered and understood some new ideas.

Hi Tom and Fred - Still finding so many "aha" moments in each of your podcasts. For example, during your discussion of Phil's question when one of you said to think of his discontent as a friend - Aha! I remember again. And though I may have had this exact realization a mere week (or even a day) or so ago, how quickly those ingrained grooves in my brain like to get me back to fighting.

Somewhere I've heard the saying "even Jesus had to pray" - does this have something to do with those "grooves"?

Thank you so much for these podcasts!

Yes, I think it does have something to do with those grooves. Thanks for writing Lisa.

I think this is a very interesting point (about the group think). I know that with "mob mentality" people do horrific things that they would NEVER do on their own. I pray that if I am ever put to a test I may be strong enough to do what is right...
