    One being "However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are." Love that quote!! So true.

    Another one referred to the mind being a sacred place. I thought of the considerations I still have, even after turning away from the church, for such religious buildings. How differently I treat my own mind. The small amount of light that I've managed to uncover there has helped me more than anything I've ever gotten out of a church.
    Great book.
